What would you say to the world?

If you had 5 minutes on a soap box shouting your message to the world, what would you punch the air and say?

Here’s my 5 minute hoopla:

Life’s not a dress rehearsal.

Do what you love.

Start today.

I want to snap crackle pop you outta that damn cubicle space of thinking and out into a wild ocean of soul-arching possibility.

What the f*** does that mean?

It means I want to hear you ROAR. I want you. yes YOU to stand up and embrace this life you have. Live it. Love it. Take your cues from your heart and soul.

Cash matters, relationships matter, health matters, yes yes all these things matter, but the MOST important thing of all looks back at you in the mirror every day.

YOU.

YOU YOU YOU. You completely. Not just the good parts of you and the rest bundled and smothered up but the whole complete parcel.

Think that sounds self-indulgent, narcissistic to be so focused on you?

Get over it.

The problem is you don’t think enough about you. You think too much about what others think about you.

That is the real narcissism. Right there.

F.A.C.T. Fact.

Stop it.

Drop it.

LET IT GO.

Get this. Noone is thinking that much about you. They’re too busy wondering what everyone is thinking about them.

What a waste of life…

“So how did it go down there on earth?

Well I lived a life as best as close to how I thought others thought I should live it.

What?!

Why?!

Well I…I don’t know. I don’t know what I was thinking. Argh. Can I have another go?”

Well I don’t know if you get another pop at this. But just in case.

Just in case.

Let’s say maybe you don’t.

Maybe this is no dress rehearsal.

THIS IS NOT A DRESS REHEARSAL.

Let’s just say that.

This, right here, right now, with every second ticking by is IT. The real deal. YOUR LIFE. You gonna live it or what?

Because seriously, when you open up to it, dive in, embrace it ,when you accept the gift of life you’ve been given. When you honour that gift and honour YOU. You leave a legacy behind when you go. You will have touched people’s hearts, you will have lit them up, brought them to life, just in who you are BEING.

“Don’t ask what the world needs, ask what makes you come alive, and then go and do that, because what the world needs, is people who have come alive”.

That is my battle cry.

Now make it yours.

Now it’s your go. If you had 5 minutes on a soap box shouting your message to the world, what would you punch the air and say? Share it below and share it with us.
