This week I wanted to tell you a story about one of my business ideas I did a few years ago that didn’t work out.
You hear a lot of stories about the successful businesses and careers that people have and how they all began, but what you don’t hear so much of is the businesses and careers these people had a crack at that failed, that fizzled out, that never turned into much.
Maybe people think that because they didn’t amount to much they were inconsequential. They were a blip. A wrong turn they’d rather forget about and tend to write out of their history.
But often the businesses that didn’t make it and the career paths that didn’t lead anywhere have the biggest impact, teach us the most, change the paths of our lives sometimes more than the successful ones.
Sometimes it’s the small projects that make the biggest difference.
So today I’m going to tell you about one of my businesses that ended up having a shelf life of about 6 weeks but that put me on the track that took me to where I am today.
Why am I telling this story today? Because on Tuesday tickets go on sale to our 5th Screw Work Let’s Play 30 Day Challenge and there is a big reason why I’m inviting you to join me on this one in particular…
